Marcial is one of the A ROCHA Life managers and the Operations Director.
Although being and environmentalist from early age, he only got interested in birds a few years ago.
This has led him to become a bird ringer and well as a birdwatcher.
Birds also became the focus of his PhD, used as indicators of environmental quality, for the landscape changes in the western Algarve.
