As every year, A Rocha Portugal, in partnership with Cardiff University, leads a ringin campaign focusing on Storm-Petrels (Hydrobates pelagicus).

Field work is done at night near Burgau. Days are spent either resting or discovering the Algarve, even birdwatching for those who want!

This study which has been going on for more than 15 years helps investigate the links between climate change & marine life.

Each expedition runs for 10 days (9 nights):
Team 1: Tuesday 30st May – Thursday 8th June
Team 2: Friday 9th June – Sunday 18th June
Team 3: Monday 19th June – Wednesday 28th June

Cost (all expenses included: traveling, full accommodation & food): £810

Please contact Dr. Renata Medeiros ([email protected]c.uk) for more information on the project and how to book a place.
