Spring is officially here! Swallows and Martins have been around for a while. Yellow Wagtails and Swifts have arrived not long ago and Bee-eaters should be on their way (they usually arrive at the end of March or beginning of April). In the Alentejo, the Lesser Kestrels have already set-up at the colonies. The resident birds are ready to breed and males are singing and displaying.

Spring is a great time to go birdwatching or looking for orchids. Have a look at our tours here.
