Last week end A Rocha Life was at the 6th Birdwatching Festival in Sagres were we guided 4 birdwatching walks, showing people the birds that pass through the area around this time of the year.

On Saturday, we were quite lucky with a mixed flock of Booted Eagles and Honey Buzzards on the first walk, while a Short-eared Owl was the cherry on top of the cake to finish the day. On Sunday, the weather changed but besides the rain we still managed to see Choughs, a Magpie (uncommon so far west in the Algarve), Wheatears and a Southern Grey Shrike.
