Filipa BragançaGuide d'observation d'oiseaux

    Filipa est portugaise et a grandi dans l’ouest de l’Algarve. Elle a étudié la biologie à l’université d’Aveiro avant de travailler avec les tortues marines en Grèce. Elle a aussi participé aux premières campagnes de suivi de la migration à Sagres et surveillé a mortalité aviaire due aux ligne électriques avec la SPEA (partenaire de BirdLife International au Portugal).

    Elle est bénévole avec A Rocha Portugal depuis 2008 et a été principalement impliquée dans le suivi des Gravelots à collier interrompus à Ria de Alvor.

    Elle possède aussi un permis de bagueur au Portugal et participe régulièrement à différentes enquêtes (Atlas, Suivi Temporel des Oiseaux Communs, comptage de rapaces nocturnes…).

    Elle est aussi intéressée et possède une grande connaissance sur les orchidées et les papillons.

    Elle travaille avec A Rocha Life depuis 2016.

    Filipa parle couramment le portugais et l’anglais.

      Filipa is Portuguese and grew up in this part of the Algarve. She did her biology degree at Aveiro University before working with sea Turtles in Greece. She also helped during the firsts migration campaign at Sagres and monitored bird mortality on power lines with SPEA (BirdLife International partner in Portugal).

      She has been volunteering at A Rocha Portugal since 2008 and has worked mainly with monitoring Kentish Plovers on the Alvor Estuary.

      She is also a licensed bird ringer in Portugal and participates regularly on Bird Census Projects (Atlas fieldwork, Common Bird Census, Owl Census…).

      She is also interested and has large knowledge on orchids and butterflies.

      She has been working with A Rocha Life since 2016.

      Filipa is fluent in Portuguese and English.
