Migration is still going in so Sagres is witnessing every day a busy airspace. Flocks of several hundreds of Griffon Vultures are passing by, sometimes bringing Ruppell’s Vulture with them. We managed to spot one Egyptian Vulture ringed this year in Spain and another one carrying a transmitter from the Rupis Life project run by SPEA. Spanish Imperial Eagle can be seen regularly and Golden Eagle was spotted twice in the area.

Among the rarities found this year, we can mention a Little Swift, a Yellow-browed Warbler and 2 juvenile Rosy Starlings.

In terms of small birds, most flycatchers and Wheatears have gone, replaced by Chaffinches and thrushes. Numbers of Crag Martins are also increasing.
