A Rocha Life has been running  week long tours since 2011. During these 6 years, 246 birds species have been spotted. In average, 183 species were seen per year with a maximum in 2015 (206 species seen).

During a week tour, you can expect many common species for the Algarve such as Azure-winged Magpie, Glossy Ibis or Black-winged Kite. However, many rarities for the regions were also seen like Rueppell’s Vulture, Red-breasted Flycatcher or Yellow-browed Warbler.

There are still vacancies for the 2017 tours, have a look here.
